Tekken 6 (??6?) is the latest installment of Namco Bandai's Tekken series, which was released in Japanese arcades on November 26, 2007. It will be released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Portable in
October 2009.It is the first game to be released on the PlayStation 3-based System 357 arcade board.[5] At the 2008 Tokyo Game Show, it was announced the console version of Tekken 6 will include the new stages and
characters of Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion, while the PlayStation Portable version will feature additional content to its console counterparts.[6] On October 9th 2009, it was announced that development of Tekken 6
had ceased, and development on the title finished, ready for mass production of the title. Tekken 6, which will be released on October 27 for the PS3, PSP, and Xbox 360, is the sequel to Tekken 5 and Tekken 5: Dark
Resurrection which have been well-received by fans of the "Tekken" fighting games. Katsuhiro Hirada, game director for Tekken 6 and previous Tekken games, said that the stages will be bigger and will have
more interactivity,[8] such as walls or floors that can be broken to reveal new fighting areas.[9] The character customization feature has been enhanced, and will be more involved with the gameplay.[8]
